I would stay here again if I visited Madrid

Catalonia El Retiro was a peaceful place to rest and I was able to sleep well. In addition I love that there was a basic fit gym a few minutes away and the metro as well. All the tourist attractions I wanted to visit were right off the number one blue line

I would have liked to have Gad the option to buy a small breakfast or coffee on the property. The 18 dollar breakfast was a bit pricey. However it looked delicious

The hotel was ok but everything was far away. I would always have to commute for more than 40min.

The bathroom was big and the room was big.

There was no coffee machine or kettle in the room. This is essential especially when you must catch a flight at 6 am. Nothing is open so you can find a decent coffee before leaving. The location was horrible. It is called "El Retiro" but is 50min minutes from the park. I feel like the name tricked me. I should have checked the distance before booking. If I come back to Madrid, I will not stay there because it is too far.

Amazing and comfy stay.

The breakfast was very delicious though it lacked in diversity in 3 days i didnt had time to try everything. The room was clean. The staff was very nice and helpful when we had question. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Over all a good experience appreciated that there was a good bakery next door and grocery store across the street.

The staff were excellent and the location was close to the Metro. It also had reasonably priced parking.

The WiFi was poor, very slow and would disconnect frequently from the network.
